The importance of pots increases with the onset of summer season. Its water is as good for health as it is cold to drink. Today people prefer to drink potable water instead of RO and fridge water. The potable water balances the pH level of the body and by drinking its water reaches the natural mineral body of the pot. According to Professor Achyut Tripathi at the National Ayurveda University of the Ministry of AYUSH, fridge water contains a type of gas, which is harmful to health. The gas further damages the white matter stored in the refrigerator, destroying the alkaloids. Drinking water from the fridge does not quench thirst. Filtered water filters the natural oxygen in the pot, which makes it more beneficial for health.

Anjani Kirodiwal, Chairman, Amrut Mati India Trust, has been conducting research on the scientific benefits of pottery for the last 15 years. Explaining the research done in 1993 in Germany, he said that according to this research, the pH level of a person has been raised to 1-14. Our bodies have different liquids and all of them have different pH. A person whose pH level is seven is not acidic and alkaline means he is neutral. The body of a person whose pH goes below 7 is acidic.

If the pH level goes from 7 to 14, it means that the alkalinity in the body increases. Having a pH 7-14 means you are not at risk of serious illness in the future. The soil is in alkaline format i.e. has alkalinity activity. So drinking water from a clay pot increases the salinity of the body. Overall potable water is considered to be the most beneficial for the body.

How does potable water cool down?

The process of cooling the water in the pot is the same as the process of drying the sweat from the skin. It can also be understood in such a way that when you sweat in the heat, the skin feels cool after sweating. In this way, after filling the pot with water, air continues to pass through its tiny pores which keep the water cool. The more air passes through the pot, the more water will cool.

Why is it important to drink potable water in summer?

According to Achyut Tripathi, Professor, National Ayurveda University, Ministry of AYUSH, drinking potable water does not cause problems like cough and cold, while drinking potable water weakens the immune system and potable water keeps the body healthy. Drinking potable water does not cause frequent thirst. This water maintains proper oxygen content in the body. Drinking potable water also flushes out toxins from the body.

Anjani Kirodiwal says that drinking potable water increases salinity in the body, which prevents bad breath. When that water goes into the stomach, the problem related to digestion is removed. Alkaline water balances hormones. Reduces the effects of aging. Weight gain. Removes toxins from the body. Keeps skin well.

A new invention, the Alkaline Water Jug

Amrut Mati India Trust has prepared alkaline water jugs by collecting soil from different parts of Rajasthan which has also been certified by IIT Roorkee. This jug eliminates the problem of pollution and fluoride from the water and also increases the water quality. According to Anjani Kirodiwal, low pH level water is converted into alkaline water as soon as it is poured into this jug and alkaline water is considered to be the best for one's body.

According to Kirodiwal, when buying a pot, check the pH level with the pH level solution and see that it is beneficial to drink the pot water if the pot water is above pH 7. The quality of potted soil can also be known from that pH level.

According to Professor Achyut, the pot should not be more than two years old. The floor should not be greasy. It should not have any kind of polish on it.

When should potable water not be drunk?

According to Anjani Kirodiwal, potable water can be drunk in any season. There is no harm in drinking this water. Even when the fridge was not in this world, people drank only potable water and it did no harm. Complete these 10 important tasks by March 31, including Aadhaar-Pan link and tax saving investment

1. Linking the base page

The last date for linking PAN card with Aadhaar is March 31. If you do not link your page to Aadhaar by March 31, it will become inactive. If a person does not have an active page number, the bank will deduct TDS at the rate of 20% on your income.

2. File a Late or Revised Return

The last date for filing billed or revised Incometax Return (ITR) for 2019-20 is also 31st March. Billed returns are filed after the original deadline for filing returns for a financial year has passed. For this the taxpayer has to pay a penalty of Rs. 10,000.

Revised returns are filed when an error occurs while filing the original return. Billed ITR is filed under Section 139 (4) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 and Revised ITR is filed under Section 139 (5). The billed return has to be filed before 31st March 2021 with a late filing fee of Rs.

3. Book profit from stocks and equity funds

Long-term capital gains over Rs 1 lakh on stocks and equity oriented funds are now taxable. If you have made long term capital gain then Rs. Tax exemption can be availed on long term capital gains up to Rs 1 lakh. Book a profit before March 31 to take advantage of the tax deduction.

For that, you should sell as many stocks and equity funds as you can before March 31 to get a profit of up to Rs 1 lakh. Then reinvest the same money in the next financial year. However in the process of buying and selling you have to pay 1% to the brokerage house. Mutual fund investors do not have to pay this amount, as entry loads are not levied and the entry load does not apply when the funds are sold after one year.

4. Investment to get income tax exemption

If you are planning to invest to avail income tax exemption, you have to invest till March 31. Investments made under several sections of the Income-tax Act, such as 80C and 80D, are tax-exempt. Under Section 80C of the Income-tax Act, tax exemption is available on investments up to Rs 1.5 lakh.

5. KYC of bank and demat account

Demat and bank account holders will have to update KYC by March 31, 2022. Under KYC, the bank asks customers to update their PAN card, address, such as Aadhaar, passport etc. Also requested is a recent photograph and other information. As a rule, your bank account may be closed if you do not update your KYC.

If your demat account does not have KYC, it will be deactivated. This will prevent you from trading in the stock market. Even if a person buys shares of a company, these shares cannot be transferred to the account. This will happen after the KYC process is completed and verified.

6. Deposit minimum amount in PPF, NPS and Sukanya accounts

If you have a Public Provident Fund (PPF), National Pension Scheme (NPS) and Sukanya Samrudhi Yojana (SSY) account, but have not invested in it this financial year, you need to deposit some amount in it to keep the account active. These accounts will become inactive if money is not deposited in PPF and NPS. If you do not deposit the required minimum amount, you will have to pay a penalty to reactivate it.

7. Linking bank account with small savings plans

If you run small savings schemes like Time Deposit, Senior Citizen Savings Scheme or Monthly Scheme at Post Office, you must link these accounts with the bank's Savings Account or Post Office Savings Account by March. From April 1, the money for these schemes will be available in the savings account only. You cannot go to the post office and take interest money in cash. Interest linked money will be transferred electronically upon linking to a savings account.

8. e-kyc for PM Kisan Yojana

Farmers who are availing the benefit of PM Kisan Yojana are required to undergo KYC by March 31. You can also do e-kyc if you wish. Farmers who have not done KYC in PM Kisan account after March 31 will not get Rs 2,000 from Government of India.

9. Submit Form 12B

If you have changed jobs after April 1, 2021, report the TDS deducted from the previous job to the new company through Form 12B. If you do not submit Form 12B by March 31, the company may deduct more TDS, which will be to your detriment.

Yoga is a way of living a well-organized life and its aim is the science of developing the unlimited power and consciousness of human beings. The practice of yoga gradually develops a person’s consciousness, which ultimately leads to self-realization.

Purpose of Yoga: Stability of mind is achieved through yoga, it gives restraint to the senses. At the root of each of our problems is thought. Emotions arise from thoughts, most of which are negative emotions such as fear, anxiety, frustration, hatred, jealousy etc. These feelings hurt. The aim of yoga is to take the mind away from these negative emotions in a positive direction, with the right practice of yoga one attains physical-mental health and experiences ultimate peace through spiritual experience. The different practices of yoga have the power to prevent certain ailments from occurring. Thus yoga acts as a shield against diseases.

Yogas:

The word ‘aas’ is derived from the original Sanskrit metal ‘aas’, which means ‘to sit’. The word 'asana' can be understood in two ways. One is ‘through which a person sits’ and the other means ‘on which a person sits’.

The first meaning refers to the state of body or mind. Such as Sukhasana - The mind experiences happiness by sitting in this asana, hence the name 'Sukhasana'. Some of the asanas are named according to the position or posture of the body. Such as Padmasana. In this asana, the body is shaped like a lotus (padma), hence the name Padmasana. Moreover, in this asana, the state of mind also becomes like a thousand lotuses.

Maharshi Patanjali has said, ‘Sthir Sukham Asanam’ i.e. asana is a state in which the mind feels a constant feeling of happiness or comfort and in that state the body has to be kept stable.

Today we learn a nice, simple asana, which is an asana for meditation.

Sukhasan

Method:

• Lay a thick comfortable chessboard on the first floor.
• Sit on a chessboard with your feet in front of your body.
• Hold the left foot with the right hand and press down on the right foot.
• In the same way press the right foot down to the left.
• Keep your neck, head and spine upright.

Keep your hands on your knees or in your lap and close your eyes. Keep your arms and back straight but be careful not to feel stress anywhere in the body.

Note: Sit in Sukhasana and focus on your breath, while breathing feel that with each breath a lot of positive energy, health, happiness is entering your body and with every exhalation anger, stress, frustration, tension is going out. ..

Imagine that you are sitting on a chariot of seven white horses and the chariot is descending through your breath into your heart, all over your body. Feel the movement of your breath moving inside your body and feel the connection of body, mind and breath. Gradually your breathing will become deeper and more regular and with it your thoughts will also decrease. You will also have less of an unprecedented idea. You will experience the bliss of an unparalleled peace. Your whole body will dance and zoom with unparalleled joy.

Don't worry if you don't experience this happiness in the beginning. Practice Sukhasana patiently every day. In the end you will experience it. Happy Yoga Day !

What time to do this?

This can be done early in the morning or in the evening. There are more benefits to doing in the morning, because in the morning there are less thoughts, the mind is cheerful and after doing asanas there is a feeling of freshness throughout the day. It is better to do asanas after bathing.

Always do this on an empty stomach. Do asanas only after an hour and a half after eating. Do not eat for an hour after doing this..

Free Ration Scheme Extended Till September | Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojna

Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojna Extend Till September. Grain distribution dates have been announced to NFSA card holders. Wheat, rice, lentils, sugar and salt will be given in May in the same way as they were given in April. In addition, NFSA card holders will be given an additional 3.5 kg of wheat and 1.5 kg of rice as per the scheme of the Government of India.

The Modi government on Saturday extended the scheme to provide 5 kg of grains free of cost to the poor by six months till September 30 at a cost of ₹ 80,000 crore, as it looks to continue providing support to vulnerable amid a rebound in the COVID-19 pandemic.

The scheme, which started when India went into stringent lockdown two years back, was to end on March 31.

In the last two years, around ₹ 2.6 lakh crore has already been spent under this scheme and it will cost another ₹ 80,000 crore with the extension of six months.

In March 2020, the Centre had launched the scheme -- Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PM-GKAY) -- to provide free 5 kg foodgrains per person per month to over 80 crore beneficiaries covered under the National Food Security Act (NFSA) to reduce the hardships of people during the COVID pandemic.

"In keeping with the concern and sensitivity towards poor and vulnerable sections of society, the Union Cabinet has extended the PM-GKAY scheme for another six months i.e, till September 2022 (Phase VI)," an official statement said.

The Phase-V of PM-GKAY scheme was to end in March 2022.

"The government has spent approximately ₹ 2.60 lakh crore so far and another ₹ 80,000 crore will be spent over the next six months till September 2022 taking the total expenditure under PM-GKAY to nearly ₹ 3.40 lakh crore," the statement said.

The extension of the scheme shows the Modi government's sensitivity towards poor, Food Minister Piyush Goyal tweeted.

The additional free grains are over and above the normal quota provided under the NFSA at a highly subsidised rate of ₹ 2-3 per kg.

"Even though the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly abated and economic activities are gathering momentum, this PM-GKAY extension would ensure that no poor household goes to bed without food during this time of recovery," the statement said.

Under the extended PM-GKAY each beneficiary will get additional 5 kg free ration per person per month in addition to his normal quota of grains under the NFSA.

"This means that every poor household would get nearly double the normal quantity of ration," the statement said.

The government had allocated about 759 lakh tonnes of free grains under the PM-GKAY till Phase V.

"With another 244 lakh tonnes of free foodgrains under this extension (Phase VI), the aggregate allocation of free foodgrains under the PM-GKAY now stand at 1,003 lakh tonnes of foodgrains," it added.

The benefit of free ration can be availed through portability by any migrant labour or beneficiary under One Nation One Ration Card (ONORC) plan from nearly 5 lakh ration shops across the country. So far, over 61 crore portability transactions have benefitted the beneficiaries away from their homes.

"This has been made possible due to the highest ever procurement despite the century's worst pandemic with the highest ever payment to farmers by the government," the food ministry said.

For this record production in the agricultural fields Indian farmers -'Annadata' deserves to be complimented, it added.

This scheme has been extended several times with the recent one until March 2022.

Initially in 2020-21, the PMGKAY scheme was announced only for a period of three months of April, May and June 2020 (Phase-I). Later, the government extended the scheme from July to November 2020 (Phase-II).

With the COVID crisis continuing in 2021-22, the Centre in April 2021 had re-introduced the scheme for a period of two months of May and June 2021 (Phase-III) and extended it for another five months from July to November 2021 (Phase-IV).

The scheme was again extended from December 2021 to March 2022 (Phase-V).

In the beginning, the government had also distributed 1 kg of pulses under this scheme, but it was discontinued later.
