This year paper testing is taking more time due to optional system. Students are instructed to check each written question and validate the question which has the highest mark. This can lead to higher results. Teachers, on the other hand, said that during the Corona period, students got online study, so the quality of text was not seen in the answers to the questions like every year.
Status of paper checking in the centers of Rajkot
(1) Bhushan School: 19,700 papers of Std. Here only 82 out of 150 teachers came for paper checking, 68 were absent, out of which 41 teachers started proceedings for notice.
(2) Swaminarayan Gurukul: 12,000 Sanskrit papers of Std. Out of 65, 25 teachers came here, 13 were given notice.
(3) Swaminarayan Gurukul: 14,000 Hindi papers of Std. Here 68 out of 115 teachers are absent, out of which notice action against 27 teachers.
(4) Bardanwala School: 10,000 Gujarati-English medium papers of Physics came. 100 out of 200 teachers here. Teachers from Kutch, Bhavnagar, Surendranagar get daily remuneration of Rs.240, Rs. 6.50 is found.
(5) Bharad School: Std. 50,100 papers of 12 came. Here 271 out of 510 teachers are absent.
