मॉडल स्कूल, मॉडल दिवस स्कूल वर्ष 2012-13 से राज्य के 9 जिलों में शैक्षिक रूप से पिछड़े तालुकों में काम कर रहे हैं। इस योजना के तहत राज्य सरकार द्वारा संचालित केजीबीवी के अलावा स्टैड 09 से 12 तक के छात्र पढ़ते हैं, जिसमें प्रतिभाशाली लड़कियों को नामांकित किया जाता है। इन्हें राज्य सरकार द्वारा संचालित मॉडल स्कूल, मॉडल डे स्कूल और केजीबीवीए स्कूल ऑफ एक्सीलेंस के रूप में विकसित किया जा रहा है। जिसमें प्रतिभाशाली बच्चों के प्रवेश के लिए राज्य परीक्षा बोर्ड द्वारा "कॉमन एंट्रेंस टेस्ट" का आयोजन किया गया है।
