Google Lens allows you to search what you see, get things done faster, and understand the planet around you—using just your camera or a photograph .
There’s such a lot information available online, but many of the questions we've are about the planet right ahead folks . That’s why we started performing on Google Lens, to place the answers right where the questions are, and allow you to do more with what you see.
Last year, we introduced Lens in Google Photos and therefore the Assistant. People are already using it to answer all types of questions—especially when they’re difficult to explain during a search box, like “what sort of dog is that?” or “what’s that building called?”

Today at Google I/O, we announced that Lens will now be available directly within the camera app on supported devices from LGE, Motorola, Xiaomi, Sony Mobile, HMD/Nokia, Transsion, TCL, OnePlus, BQ, Asus, and in fact the Google Pixel. We also announced 3 updates that enable Lens to answer more questions, about more things.
